This sturdy high-volume 24-ppm workhorse laser printer is faster more robust and more intelligent than the HP LaserJet 4Si printer. Its versatility enables several paper-handling and network options.
It has two open EIO slots for HP JetDirect cards or third-party print servers and prints 600 dpi with 120 levels of gray. Document text will be sharp and crisp due to the Resolution Enhancement technology (REt) and uses microfine toner. It has a 40-MHz RISC processor that provides print speeds up to 24 pages-per-minute.
